A word from the local agency representative.

I was born in Jangheung, Jeollanam-do, and started yoga in 1997, which helped me regain my health and find peace of mind.

In 2002, I returned to my hometown and started running a yoga community, building a traditional ondol room to provide a resting place for those who are wandering.

Yoga is a holistic practice that not only helps physically and mentally, but also develops and enhances human potential.

If you come to our yoga community, we will help you purify your mind through ample conversation and consistent yoga.

About the accommodation

■ Recommended travel destinations by planners

1. Seonhak-dong village

Seonhak-dong village is a place where the rapeseed flowers bloom in spring and buckwheat fields in autumn, with fields of flowers changing with each season. When warm spring arrives, the village is covered in yellow rapeseed flowers, and in autumn, the beautiful scenery of the buckwheat flowers blanketing the lower village under clear skies and fresh breezes is famous among photographers. The paths through the rapeseed and buckwheat fields are well-maintained for walking, making it great for leisurely strolls, and there are resting gazebos that add charm. Walking between the flower fields, which have a different charm from the dense forests, will lift your spirits and make you feel as warm as a grandmother's embrace.

2. Cheongwan Mountain

Cheongwan Mountain, one of the five famous mountains of Honam, is named for its unique shaped rocky peaks, which look like a crown adorned with jewels. Although it is 723m tall, the entire mountain is made up of rocks, making each peak soar toward the sky, adding to its grandeur. When you climb the mountain, the southern coast and its archipelago unfold like a traditional Chinese painting, showcasing various beautiful views throughout the seasons. In spring, it's especially lovely with fresh green leaves and red camellia forests, and in autumn, the vast silver grass fields are breathtaking. Every October, the Cheongwan Mountain Silver Grass Festival is held to celebrate the peak season of silver grass, where waves of silver grass dance, singing the praises of autumn under the sun and moon.

3. Jeongnamjin Hinoki Woodland

Jeongnamjin Hinoki Woodland is located in a 100ha area of Jangheung County’s Eobulsan Mountain, with a hinoki forest over 60 years old. It includes an eco-building experience center made from environmentally friendly materials, a wood culture experience hall showcasing and allowing visitors to engage with various wood cultures, a barrier-free deck path connecting to the top of Eobulsan called Mallegil, a healing forest for rest and relaxation, and a thermal healing facility called Hinoki Salt House made only from hinoki and salt.
