Project introduction
This project is aimed at foreign participants.

A valuable service activity connecting seniors to a rapidly changing world!
With technology advancing and many parts of our lives becoming automated and digital, we can access more information faster than before.
But the elderly are missing out on the same benefits because they don't know or are not used to it.
In this reality, you can create a special experience that connects seniors to the world!
Provide education to seniors who want to learn at school and make meaningful memories.
As we share stories and have classes together, the joyful expressions of the students will make me smile too!

My small teachingcan be a great hopefor someone!
"Now I can read and write anything I’m called to do, and it’s so much fun. I want to keep studying for as long as I live."
"Thinking about going to school makes me hurry to wash my face and put on makeup since morning. At my age, just that is so nice."
Seniors find great happiness in learning something new at school.
How about volunteering for literacy education to help students enjoy their daily lives with small learnings?
The seniors who come to this school are people who didn't receive formal education and want to learn many things.
I can teach not only Korean and English but also basic knowledge about our society, giving them a joyful and healthy life.
Join this exciting moment when my small teaching becomes a great hope for someone!

Literacy education volunteeringhas these benefits!
First, I can heal and smile along with the happy faces of the seniors.
Second, by sharing many stories while teaching, I can create unforgettable memories.
Third, seeing the changes in students because of my teaching gives me a satisfaction like nothing else.
I believe that as long as there is passion, anyone can be young at heart, no matter their age.
Shall we head to Daejeon to cheer on the seniors' youth?

This place, which has been established for 9 years this year, gives senior students a chance for a new life.
Most of the teachers at the school are retired teachers, and there are also volunteers who are musicians, actors, painters, and homemakers.
It is a special place for both students receiving education and teachers providing lessons, creating unforgettable memories.
A word from the local agency representative.
Literacy education is not just the ability to read and write.
It is the foundation of all education and a right that every citizen should have.
That is why we feel the greatest satisfaction when our students gain confidence and can live a new life.
Our dream is to provide even more learning opportunities in the future.
I believe that if you share your knowledge, we can create joyful memories together!
In addition to literacy education and preparation for exams, our center offers cultural and artistic experiences such as art, film, theater, exhibitions, and concerts, supported by individuals or local governments. We hope seniors can experience and learn not only basic education but also in the field of culture and arts. If anyone wants to share cultural and artistic stories with our students, please contact us!
