About the organization

This place is the first surf shop in the west coast of Korea, opened in 2013, and is run by local surfers right in front of Manri-po beach.
Trained instructors who completed ISA International Surfing Instructor courses teach lessons safely and systematically, showing you "real surfing."
A word from the local representative.
We are the first surf shop in Manri-po that started 9 years ago.
At first, we came to ride the waves in Manri-po, which had nothing, but we wanted a place to relax with friends and built this shop.
Surfing is a sport without records or competition. Because of this, we focus more on riding the waves and the experience itself rather than winning or losing.
If you want to feel this surfing culture, come to Manri-po with a relaxed mind.
We hope you enjoy lessons here, ready with everything, and develop a love for surfing with us!

■ Recommended travel destinations by planners

1. Ggotji Beach
Ggotji Beach shows a picturesque view with wide white sands and Halmi Rock and Harabi Rock. The sunset that turns red over the two rocks is considered one of the most beautiful views symbolizing Taean. Because of this, travelers visit not only in summer but throughout the year. Take a picture of the beautiful sunset scenery over Halmi Rock and Harabi Rock as the sun sets.

2. Cheollipo Arboretum
Cheollipo Arboretum is located at the end of the Taean Peninsula on the west coast, embracing the coast, islands, and sea, boasting the best view among Korean arboretums. Founded by Dr. Min Byeong-gal, the first private arboretum in Korea, he planted various plants and cared for them throughout his life, allowing it to develop into the best arboretum in Korea. By collecting and preserving plants from Korea and around the world, it has become a beautiful garden while focusing on research and education, instilling a love for nature in people and providing creative inspiration and happiness.

3. Shinduri Coastal Sand Dunes
Shinduri Coastal Sand Dunes are located in the northwest of the Taean Peninsula, with some parts of the well-preserved dunes designated as natural monuments. Coastal sand dunes protect the coast by regulating the amount of sediment between land and sea, serve as a buffer connecting inland and coastal ecosystems, and create beautiful landscapes. Especially, Shinduri Coastal Sand Dunes are the largest in Korea and loved as Taean's most unique ecotourism site, designated as a slow city.
