The fact that you can surf in Namhae attracts many surfers, making it a popular place for a variety of people!

Look at the beautiful sea that Goheung is proud of and let the waves wash your stress away.

Anyone can easily learn surfing?!

This project takes place at Namyeol Sunrise Beach, the only beach in Namhae for surfing, where beginners can easily engage in surfing activities.

Instructors and coaches who have run a surf shop at Namyeol Beach for the longest time teach surfing safely and systematically.

Instructors with various experiences teach everything from theory lessons to wearing a wetsuit, so you can learn all about surfing.

Don't worry, there are also lessons for those who want to improve their surfing skills!

Work on controlling the surfboard with your coach and enjoy exciting free surfing while riding the waves.

With classes that match your level, anyone can learn surfing properly!

In the evening, watch the red sunset and express your freedom in the vast sea!

This project is an activity where you can enjoy surfing freely in Goheung, Jeollanam-do.

It is divided into beginner lessons and skill improvement lessons that you can take after the beginner class.

There is also a rental service that only provides boards for experienced surfers, so please inquire separately if you are interested.

* This activity is an example to help understand the program. The lesson times change daily, so lessons will only happen in one of the morning or afternoon sessions.

Also, the activity times may change depending on the participation period and local conditions.

Additional information

- Reservations are required, and you must make a deposit the day before to complete the reservation (cancellations and refunds are not possible on the day before and on the same day).

- Due to the tidal range at Namyeol Beach, the lesson time is adjusted daily for safety during shallow water.

- If the waves are too high, the lessons will not take place.

- If the waves are low, you cannot cancel or get a refund for lessons or rentals.

This place is the first surf shop at Namyeol Sunrise Beach and has the longest experience of 8 years.

We have an ISA international surfing coach certification, a lifeguard certification, and a surf rescue certification, along with experience in surf rescue teams and private marine rescue services.

We teach surfing safely and systematically.

Location : Jeollanam-do Goheung County

Jeollanam-do Goheung Countyis located in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula and consists of Goheung Peninsula, 38 inhabited islands, and 122 uninhabited islands.

Except for the boundary with Boseong County, it is all along the South Sea, so residents' lives and transportation are closely linked to the ocean.

As an aerospace city, the Naro Space Center and the Launch Viewpoint are famous, and especially the Launch Viewpoint has great coastal scenery and has become a landmark of Goheung.

There are also special products that represent Goheung, such as yuzu and pomegranate grown in clear, clean nature, and eel only produced in some areas of the southern coast.

Come and visit Goheung, which has various charms from aerospace to surfing and fresh local products!

1. Naro Space Center Space Science Museum

The Naro Space Center Space Science Museum is where the dreams and hopes of South Korea begin. This place has over 90 exhibits related to space, including basic principles about space, rockets, satellites, and space exploration. It also has various facilities like special exhibition halls, 3D video theaters, 4D video theaters, and outdoor exhibition areas, making it easy to engage with and enjoy space science. The museum is located on Naro Island, and since there's much to see, it is recommended to also visit Suksom Island!

2. Palyeongsan Mountain

Palyeongsan is the highest mountain in Goheung, consisting of 8 peaks known for its rugged terrain and many rock formations. The view of the Dadohae Sea from the summit of Palyeongsan is considered the most beautiful scenery in Goheung. You will likely be amazed by the stunning views in front of your eyes. The winding coastlines of Goheung's islands are another gift from Palyeongsan. With several hiking trails available, it is a recommended tourist site for hiking enthusiasts.

3. Oenaro Cedar Forest

The Oenaro Cedar Forest is located at Bongnae Mountain. While Bongnae Mountain is famous for its sea views from the summit, it is more noted for its lush green forests that are hard to find anywhere else in the country. Spread over 200,000 pyeong, the cedar and hinoki cypress forest created over 100 years ago provides a great resting place for hikers. The forest was established to transform degraded forests into beautiful and healthy woods, and it is now a national forest cultural asset as many tourists visit.
