Live as a Campsite Host at an Ocean View Camping Site on Wonsan Island, Korea

This is a project where you live as a campsite manager at the Ocean View Campsite on Wonsando Island in Boryeong.You will live as a staff member, managing bookings, assisting customers, and overseeing glamping rooms and facilities. You will gain hands-on experience in various tasks needed to run a campsite. You can meet travelers from all over the country, and after work, you can enjoy the sea and nature of Wonsando, experiencing a special local life that combines learning and travel.

1. Create a camping experience that people will want to return to.

A good campsite is not just about beautiful scenery or convenient facilities. It also includes friendly guidance and thoughtful services that prioritize the customer's feelings. These small services help create unforgettable trips. In this project,you will operate the site alongside the manager, designing the visitors' experiences so they can have a more comfortable and enjoyable time.You can introduce Wonsando's tourist attractions and experiences, suggest new events or service ideas at the campsite, and approach things from the perspective of a camping planner. When the ideas I suggested lead to customer satisfaction, experience special moments that make this a campsite people want to come back to.

2. Meet many travelers and create new connections.

The campsite attracts various people with different purposes and stories. By naturally interacting with travelers from check-in to sharing nearby attractions and good places to eat, you can build new connections with people from all over the country. Since everyone enjoys travel and has their own life stories, each day brings new encounters. Some will share stories about starting new jobs, while others will talk about living their travel lifestyle.You can discover new ways of life and perspectives by meeting people from different generations, jobs, and regions.Spending time conversing in various situations will enhance your communication skills and service abilities, broadening your understanding of people and the world.

3. Learn the real field of the hospitality industry from booking to facility management.

A day in the life of a camping staff member can be busier than expected. You will check bookings, greet guests, inspect rooms, and manage facilities, all of which contribute to completing someone's travel experience.Participants will directly experience the tasks needed to operate the campsite, learning the basics of tourism and hospitality such as booking management, customer service, room operations, and inventory control.This will also help you develop the ability to respond to unexpected requests or problems on-site and prioritize tasks. 4. Experience the camping life on Wonsando Island filled with adventure and experiences.

This is a project where you live on Wonsando Island in Boryeong City and run a campsite yourself. You will learn various tasks in the hospitality industry, such as managing reservations, customer service, and maintaining rooms and facilities, while providing travelers with a more enjoyable camping experience.

■ Main Activities

1) Campsite Management Tasks
You will directly experience various necessary tasks for running the accommodation, like checking reservations, managing check-ins and check-outs, preparing and checking rooms, and managing shared facilities.

2) Customer Service and Tour Guidance
You will greet travelers at the campsite, assist with check-ins, and introduce nearby tourist spots, restaurants, and activities. You will develop your service mindset and communication skills by interacting with different people.

3) Planning Campsite Programs
You can suggest and implement various ideas to make the campsite a more enjoyable and comfortable space. You will think from the customers' perspective and plan new services and programs together.

4) Interacting with Local People
You will interact with local residents and experience the various stories and cultures of Wonsando. You can create new connections with warm villagers that are hard to meet through travel.

• This is a hands-on project where you work as a campsite staff, gaining direct experience in running a campsite.
• The staff working hours may adjust according to the season, reservation status, and campsite operation.
• Due to the nature of campsites, there may be an increased workload during weekends and peak seasons, which can change the working hours.
• Since this project involves customer service, please participate with a positive attitude and a sense of responsibility.
• During the project, you will live in a glamping area within the campsite.
• The campsite has large dogs that love people to help safeguard the camping area.
• Since the campsite facilities and supplies are shared spaces for many travelers, please keep them clean and follow safety rules.
• In your free time, you can freely enjoy the nature of Boryeong City and Wonsando, and experience various activities to discover the appeal of the West Sea.

This is an ocean view glamping site located on Wonsan Island in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do, where you can enjoy the beautiful West Sea and nature up close.

It has comfortable accommodations, a swimming pool, a store, and various other amenities.

You can also enjoy mudflat experiences, sea fishing, saunas, and marine leisure activities, making it possible to enjoy both traveling and camping together.

During your stay, you will live in a glamping room at the camp.

Unlike regular camping, you can stay comfortably in a room with a bed, heating and cooling, cooking area, and bathroom with a shower, enjoying a camping life.

During the day, you will help run the camp, and after work, you can take a walk by the beach or enjoy the sunset for a relaxing time.
