1. A real historic house with a long history.
This place is an old Hanok that has been a home for over 400 years, where generations have been born and raised. Sitting on the porch, you can enjoy the quiet scenery, and by touching the old wooden pillars and traditional paper windows, you can feel the layers of time and stories in this space. The soft glow from the traditional paper in the room creates a cozy and calm atmosphere, while the warm floor keeps you warm.Feel the warmth and comfort that this historic house offers, in a place where the past and present coexist.

2. Enjoying quiet healing in nature.
The time in the historic house flows with nature. The wide garden surrounding the guest house has a pond filled with lotus flowers, and the garden trees create different views in every season. At the back hillside of the house, there is a resting area where you can enjoy the view of the Hanok village along a walking path filled with wildflowers.Here, experience a relaxing moment while enjoying a cup of tea and the beautiful scenery. Listening to the sounds of birds and insects during this quiet time will help you drop the weight of daily life and focus entirely on yourself.

In the yard of the historic house, there are traditional games like swings, top-spinning, and folk games that everyone can easily enjoy.There is also a pottery kiln and exhibition area where you can admire various pottery, or even touch the clay and spin the wheel to make your own creations.Enjoy a unique healing experience that combines nature and art, feeling the spirit of Korean tradition all around you.

Stay in a traditional house in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk, where you can enjoy the beauty of the Hanok, relax in nature, and experience traditional culture. Additional Information

- All accommodations are in traditional Hanok rooms.

- Check-in time is at 4 PM, and check-out is at 11 AM.
* If you arrive after 9 PM, please let us know in advance. You cannot enter the building after 10:30 PM.

- Due to the nature of Hanok, sound insulation is weak. Please maintain silence after 10 PM.

- Cooking and smoking are not allowed inside the accommodation, but some outside food can be brought in.

- The pottery experience at the Hanok may incur additional costs.

- Be careful when moving out the door as there are steps and thresholds due to the nature of Hanok.

- Free parking and Wi-Fi are provided.

- It is about a 10-minute drive from Bonghwa downtown.

- Pets are not allowed.

- If you add more guests, the room may be adjusted with an additional charge.

This is a designated beautiful old house by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism located in Bonghwa, Gyeongbuk. For over 400 years, the 11 generations of descendants have been born and lived here. There is a large garden and an annex across from the main house, and features like the pottery kiln, lotus pond, and garden trees add beauty all year round. In the backyard of the old house, where about 100 kinds of wildflowers bloom, there are also areas for traditional games like swings, seesaws, and top spinning. Enjoy some relaxing and healing time in this place where nature and art come together.

You will stay in a traditional ondol room that can accommodate up to 2 people. The view from the door shows the peaceful courtyard and garden of the house. A simple breakfast made from local specialties will be provided. You can also have simple outside food in the room, but please use the shared kitchen for cooking. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 11 AM.

1. National Baekdu-daegan Arboretum
This national facility was created for forest conservation and education. It includes theme gardens, outdoor exhibition areas, and biodiversity research zones. Various alpine plants, medicinal herbs, and wildflowers are displayed throughout the year, making it a great place to learn about nature while walking. The architecture and landscaping of the arboretum are also excellent, and with forest guide programs, it's a suitable location for family travelers.

2. Cheongnyangsan Provincial Park
Cheongnyangsan, the representative mountain of Bonghwa County, is famous for its beautiful hiking trails, rock cliffs, bizarre stones, and Haneul Bridge viewing platform. At the summit, you'll find the serene Cheongnyangsa Temple, along with notable spots like Eungjinjeon, Kimsaenggul, and Seonyugyo, allowing you to enjoy both the scenery and culture. There are varied courses from 1 hour to 9 hours, making it enjoyable for both beginners and experienced hikers.

3. Bunchon Santa Village
Bunchon Santa Village is a ‘Santa-themed’ village that shines during the winter festival at year-end. The V-train heading here is a slow-moving tourist train that travels through the Nakdong River gorge, offering impressive views of mountains and rivers. It features various activities like VR experiences and a mini train, providing fun experiences for both kids and adults.
