It is called the Napoli of Korea.This project allows you to enjoy fishing in the sea of Samcheok and relax with nature.You can feel the charm of the sea by going out on a boat into the clear blue waters of the East Sea and enjoy fishing. Beginners can easily join without worries, and you can also taste your catch right on the spot.

1. Fishing experience that beginners can enjoy easily.
In this project, you can go out to sea on a boat and experience fishing for yourself. A veteran captain kindly teaches you how to fish, and you can join without any fishing gear or bait, so beginners can participate without concern.During the 2-3 hour boat fishing, you can catch various fish unique to the East Sea, such as black rockfish and flatfish, and you can enjoy a delicious meal by cleaning and tasting your catch on the spot.

2. Various marine activities to enjoy.
The water is clear and not very deep, making it great for various marine activities. You can especially enjoy a transparent canoe ride and paddle gently while admiring the underwater scenery, or try snorkeling to observe fish among the rocks.The marine activity experience area is right in front of the accommodation, so you can experience it easily and comfortably anytime. You can also swim freely at the beach or stroll along the shore to fully enjoy the sea.

3. Relaxing time with family and friends.
This project is great for enjoying with family or friends. There is pension-style accommodation that can host up to 4 people and a barbecue area.You can find cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, so you can live comfortably during your stay. Enjoy a healing time full of relaxation away from everyday life with your loved ones against the backdrop of the blue East Sea!

Project activities

* Boat fishing departure time: Depart between 6 AM and 9 AM for about 2 to 3 hours.

* Boat fishing project details:

A. Preparation before departure

• Gather participants and check attendance.
• Safety training and fishing gear distribution.
• Wear life jackets and board the boat.

B. On-board fishing experience

• Travel to nearby fishing grounds.
• Follow the captain's instructions for the fishing experience.
• Caught fish can be cleaned or packed on-site.

C. After the experience

• Return to the harbor and return equipment.

* Departure may be canceled or change depending on weather conditions that day.

Boat fishing departure precautions

• Wear a life jacket before departure.
• If you get seasick easily, we recommend taking motion sickness medicine 30 minutes before departure.
• Please wear waterproof jackets, hats, and sunglasses to prepare for sea breeze and splashes.
• You must wear non-slip shoes.
• Do not throw trash or fishing lines into the sea.
• If the fish caught are small, they should be released.

- Depending on local sea conditions like weather, waves, and tides, departure times may change.

- Check-in time for accommodation is 2 PM, and check-out is 11 AM.

- There are marine activity centers nearby where you can enjoy clear canoes and snorkeling.
* Snorkeling is available from June to October, and you can rent snorkeling gear nearby for a fee if you don’t have your own.

- The accommodation has a large barbecue area, and for an extra cost, we provide charcoal, grills, tongs, and other supplies.

* There’s a butcher and a convenience store nearby for easy shopping.

- There are a café and a restaurant on the first floor of the accommodation for easy meals.

This place is located in front of the blue sea in Samcheok, Gangwon Province. We run a pension-type accommodation and offer sea fishing experiences with local captains from the nearby harbor. Our fishing village also provides various marine activities like clear canoeing, snorkeling, and swimming to ensure you have a fun time during your stay.

This is a registered pension-type accommodation that follows fire safety rules and related regulations for tourist pensions.
Many nearby lodging facilities are not officially registered as pensions.
The spacious interior can accommodate up to 4 people and includes a 55-inch TV and a computer, along with a kitchen and cooking utensils for your convenience. Free life jackets and goggles are available for rent, and there's a shared washing machine for easy washing of swimsuits after marine activities. You can enjoy a large barbecue area, and there are many convenient places nearby, including a convenience store, a butcher shop, and restaurants, making your stay comfortable.

1. Jangho Port
Jangho Port, known as the 'Naples of the East Sea,' is famous for its clear, transparent waters and quaint fishing village scenery. Visitors can enjoy many marine activities like transparent canoeing, snorkeling, and boat fishing, and the fine sandy beach of Jangho is great for relaxation.

2. Hwanseongul Cave
Hwanseongul Cave in Samcheok is the largest limestone cave in Korea, featuring stunning stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years. Walking through the long cave leads you to the charm of a mysterious underground world, making it popular among families.

3. Chogok Yonggul Candlestick Rock Trail
Chogok Yonggul and the Candlestick Rock Trail are set against the backdrop of a legend where a dragon ascended. The trail features candlestick-shaped rocks rising above the East Sea, a swinging bridge, and a sculpture park, all in harmony. The entire trail is about 660 meters, making it a pleasant walk to enjoy the emerald sea views, and it's especially beautiful at sunrise, earning fame as a photo spot.
