This project is a place in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, where you can let go of your body and mind to the wind and waves. The accommodation is right in front of a clean beach, with a fragrant cup of coffee and a cozy space in nature, making surfing more friendly, which you may not have been used to. Put aside the busy and fast life of the city for a while, and live each day at your own pace.

We operate a systematic lesson program that allows even complete beginners to participate without worry. Our professional instructors kindly teach from the basics, making it easy for those new to surfing to give it a try. This place is a safe beginner spot that is not heavily affected by the weather, boasting an ideal environment for surfing. We offer lessons from beginner level to advanced level, so you can enjoy surfing that matches your skill level.

There is also a shared space with a beautiful ocean view for surfers. After enjoying surfing, you can recover your tired body and mind with healthy food and warm coffee provided by the facility. On sunny afternoons, take a leisurely break, and when evening comes, enjoy your own time in a quiet accommodation. This will be a time to enjoy relaxation and freedom while becoming one with nature!

This project is a surfing experience in Gangneung, Gangwon-do, where you can enjoy surfing lessons and surf as much as you want. Participants can stay for a short experience of one night and two days, or for up to four weeks, to learn surfing and enjoy Gangneung. We offer beginner lessons for those new to surfing and advanced lessons for those who want to learn more professionally. The lessons include a board, wetsuit, and shower facilities.

   - Yes, the surfing wetsuit has buoyancy, so you can enjoy surfing. We provide safety training before entering the water, and our professional instructors will be with you.

   - We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels.
3. Can I surf after checking out?
   - Of course, you can surf even after checking out the next day. People surfing can use the shower for free.
4. What should I bring?
   - Please bring your swimsuit to wear under the wetsuit, personal toiletries, and sunscreen.
   * If you have a rubber or latex allergy, please prepare a rash guard.
5. Can I just rent equipment without taking lessons?
   - For safety reasons, equipment rental is only available to those who have had prior surfing lessons.
6. Can we surf even if it’s raining or the weather is bad?
   - Yes, as long as it’s not weather that bans entry, like storm warnings or typhoon alerts.

- It is located about 18 minutes by car from Gangneung Intercity Bus Terminal and Gangneung Station (KTX), and you can also reach the place by using the Gangneung City Tour Bus.

The organization running the project is the first surfing school to introduce surfing culture at Sacheon Jinri Beach and Sacheon Beach in Gangwon Province.

It was the first surfing school to include a surfing education program in college courses, promoting a proper surfing culture.We are working to provide a relaxing space close to nature for people who are tired of their daily routines.

It is located right in front of a beautiful beach. There are also many convenience stores, restaurants, and cafes nearby, so you can use various facilities conveniently during your stay.

You will stay in a co-ed shared room with people who love the sea. During your stay, you can freely mingle with many people from all around the country.

1. Gyeongpodae

This is a famous spot for watching the sunrise in Gangneung. It's said that five moons appear on clear days. The view of Gyeongpo Lake and the sea together is beautiful, making it a popular place for walks and taking photos.

2. Anmok Beach

This is a charming street where you can drink coffee while looking at the sea. There are cafes with different vibes lined up along the beach, making it a nice place to relax with a cup of coffee.

3. Ojukheon

This is the birthplace of the scholar Yulgok Yi I from the Joseon Dynasty, where traditional Korean houses and gardens are well preserved. Walking quietly here lets you feel both nature and history, making it a great spot for those who want to experience the depth of Gangneung.
